Georgi Chaltikyan delivered a master class on the topic “Digital Healthcare as the Future of Medicine” on May 18th at the Russian-Armenian University.

Georgi Chaltikyan, the Head of the Research & Education Center of Digital Health at RAU (Russian- Armenian University), a professor at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), a WHO expert, and the founder and president of the Armenian Digital Health Association, delivered a master class on the topic “Digital Healthcare as the Future of Medicine” on May 18th at the Russian-Armenian University.

Professor Georgi Chaltikyan, a distinguished faculty member from the esteemed Deggendorf Institute of Technology and a prominent scholar at RAU (Russian-Armenian University), delivered an authoritative address to the students of RAU, shedding light on the pivotal subject of digital healthcare.

“In the digitalization of spheres of activity, the healthcare sector is of primary importance and significance. Currently, the majority of developed technologies are aimed at improving people’s quality of life”.

During the meeting with the students, Professor Chaltikyan discussed the latest trends and prospects in the field of digital healthcare, particularly in Armenia.

“The healthcare sector is of primary importance and significance in the digitalization of spheres of activity. Currently, the majority of developed technologies are aimed at improving people’s quality of life, and in 20 years, youwill witness this yourselves. In the coming decades, the focus will be on achieving technical immortality, and naturally, it will rely on digital technologies” emphasized Georgi Chaltikyan.
Professor also presented the unique master’s program of Digital Health at RAU. The Master of Digital Health (MDH) program is implemented through the cooperation between RAU and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Students enrolled in this program will have the opportunity to study in Germany and receive a European-standard diploma. The European funding program Erasmus+ will cover all expenses for the first students during one semester of education in Germany, including accommodation, airfare, and health insurance.It should be noted that admissions to the master’s program in “Digital Health” are ongoing. MDH is the first innovative and interdisciplinary educational program in Armenia and the region, which will allow you to specialize in one of the most modern and relevant fields – Digital Health, which encompasses the application of information and telecommunications technologies in the field of medicine and healthcare.
