We promote the growth of digital health in Armenia by building a national integrated ecosystem.
AADH aims to establish a National Digital Health Council in partnership with the Ministry of Health of Armenia to support the strategic development and coordination of digital health initiatives across the country. The Council would serve as a collaborative platform bringing together government, healthcare institutions, technology partners, and experts to guide Armenia’s digital health transformation. The Council would position Armenia as a regional hub for digital health innovation, strengthening the healthcare system while enabling collaboration with global health technology ecosystems. This vision is built upon our blueprint report of the Armenian Digital Health Initiative (ADHI) launched in 2022.
AADH supports the development of a National Digital Health Strategy in Armenia in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Armenia and key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. The strategy would define a clear national roadmap to accelerate digital transformation in healthcare, focusing on strengthening electronic medical records, expanding telemedicine, enabling interoperability between health systems, fostering innovation in health technologies, and building national capacity in digital health. By aligning policy, infrastructure, and innovation, Armenia can create a modern, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare system while positioning the country as a regional leader in digital health. This vision is based on WHO guidelines on country development of digital health.
AADH aims to publish an annual National Digital Health Report to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of digital health in Armenia. Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Armenia and key healthcare stakeholders, the report would track national progress, highlight key initiatives, present data and insights from the public and private sectors, and identify opportunities for innovation and investment. Published every year, the report would serve as a reference document to guide policymakers, healthcare institutions, and international partners in advancing Armenia’s digital health ecosystem. The first report is expected in April 2026.
AADH is organizing ArmDigiHealth, a national conference dedicated to advancing digital health in Armenia. Held annually, the conference brings together policymakers, healthcare leaders, technology innovators, and international partners to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and showcase innovative solutions. ArmDigiHealth serves as a strategic platform to strengthen collaboration, promote investment, and accelerate the development of Armenia’s digital health ecosystem. The first ArmDigiHealth-25 was organized in September 2025. The second edition is expected to be in Q4 2026 in Yerevan.
AADH aims to strengthen digital health education by promoting programs for both initial training and continuous professional development for healthcare professionals, managers, and innovators. Our flagship program is the Master of Digital Health (MDH) organized since 2022 at Russian-Armenian University (RAU) in collaboration with Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) in Germany. Since 2025, AADH also support the first digital health course within the Master of Public Health (MPH) of the Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi (YSMU). Other courses are being developed or supported with public and private partners.
