Our goal is to create a digital health workforce in Armenia able to lead and drive the implementation of digital health solutions and services in the country both within the public and the private sector. To reach our goal, we create, develop and run digital health education and training programs in partnership with academic centers.
Our flagship program is the Master of Digital Health (MDH) in the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) and cooperation with Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) launched in 2022.
Other courses are currently under development.
Our goal is to promote and conduct scientific research related to the development of digital health in Armenia in partnership with universities, healthcare providers, and public institutions.
Our first research titled “Telemedicine is now legal in Armenia, how to make it a routine clinical practice?” was published in 2024 in the Journal of Public Health Policy and related to the development of telemedicine in Armenia and conducted in partnership with the Yerevan State Medical University and the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
Other research are currently ongoing.
We promote the implementation of digital health in the Republic of Armenia by conducting strategic advocacy initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of digital health for the health system transformation of Armenia.
Our advocacy is guided by our blueprint report of the Armenian Digital Health Initiative (ADHI) launched in 2022 and includes participation to and organization of events, regulatory support to the public institutions, the development of an annual report on digital health in Armenia as well as the creation of a national Armenian Digital Health Council serving as an advisory body and representing the public and private stakeholders.
We support the development of innovative digital health solutions and services in Armenia by supporting startups and entrepreneurs, healthcare industry and healthcare providers in creating, launching and implementing their innovations.
Since 2024, we are a partner of HIMSS with whom we conduct EMRAM assessments in hospitals and clinics of Armenia to measure the maturity of hospital information systems and electronic medical records.
