AADH President, Prof. Georgi Chaltikyan was visiting the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) in Yerevan on Aug 27 – Sept 9, within the frameworks of a cooperation agreement between RAU and Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) in Germany on a Double-Degree program Master in Digital Health (MDH). The visit was co-funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ mobility grant. The visit featured a series of activities and events.
In particular, On September 6, Prof. Chaltikyan had a working meeting with the university administration to discuss the launch of the program and upcoming activities for its successful debut. The program is the result of a collaboration between AADH, DIT and RAU, providing graduates with a unique set of benefits, including but not limited to knowledge and specialized skills in the management and implementation of digital health tools, translational research informatics and healthcare management, bioethics and data management. Last but not least, students will have the opportunity to study in Germany and receive a European diploma.
On September 9, Prof. Chaltikyan held a master class on the topic “Digital Health as the Future of Medicine” at RAU.
The master class covered issues of digital health, potential opportunities for professional development and prospects in the field. He also presented MDH to the wide audience of interested undergraduate students and other applicants. Prospective students were informed about the advantages and unique opportunities of the study program.
