October 16, 2025

We’re proud to announce that Armenia has just hosted its first-ever Annual Digital Health Conference — ArmDigiHealth 2025!
This milestone event brought together global and local leaders, innovators, and students to advance the digital transformation of healthcare.

Keynote Sessions

The conference featured two thought-provoking keynote presentations.

  • Professor Georgi Chaltikyan, MD, PhD, Founder of AADH, delivered an insightful session on Global Advances in AI for Health and Digital Precision.

  • Dr. Robin Vicken Ohannessian, MD, MPH, PhD, President of AADH, presented on Digital Health in Armenia and AADH Activities, offering a comprehensive overview of the organization’s initiatives and the national digital health landscape.

Innovation and Startups

A central part of the conference was the Innovation Spotlight, showcasing Armenian startups driving change in digital health and AI for health. The featured companies included:

  • Qualia Therapeutics, founded by Nerses Khachatryan

  • FiveBrane, led by Anna Shahinyan

  • BeeWeb, represented by Araks Grigoryan and Karen Hovhannisyan

These innovators demonstrated how local expertise is shaping global health solutions through cutting-edge technologies.

Partnership and Collaboration

A significant moment of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Armenian Association of Digital Health (AADH) and the Armenian National Association of Pain Medicine, represented by Dr. Avetis Avetisyan. This agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to integrate digital health innovations into pain management practices.

Global Dialogue

ArmDigiHealth 2025 also served as a platform for international cooperation. A joint webinar on The State of Telehealth in India and Armenia was organized in partnership with the Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) and under the auspices of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH). The session facilitated a valuable exchange of knowledge and best practices between two rapidly evolving digital health ecosystems.

Education and Academic Excellence

Education remained at the heart of the conference. The MDH Class of 2023 celebrated the graduation of Lyuda Baghdasaryan and Vicky Ohanian, who received double diplomas from both the Russian-Armenian University, represented by Rector Professor Edward Sandoyan, and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, represented by Professor Georgi Chaltikyan, MD, PhD. This milestone was made possible through the dedicated support of Lusine Shahverdyan.

The MDH Class of 2024 presented their startup project “Mayrik – Postpartum Support Platform”, developed by Elen Hayrapetyan, Hasmik Bichakhchyan, Mariam Ohanyan, and Ani Galstyan.

Meanwhile, the conference also welcomed the MDH Class of 2025, introducing six new students: Maria Hakobyan, Susanna Velijanyan, Vilen Gyurjyan, Jora Margaryan, Dr. Samantha Grace Sharon Mercy, and Dr. Ravikumar Daniefranklyn.

Institutional Development

The conference concluded with the General Assembly of AADH, during which President Dr. Robin Vicken Ohannessian presented a comprehensive two-year activity report. The session also launched the re-election process for the President and the Board, reflecting AADH’s commitment to transparent governance and sustainable growth.

Looking Ahead

The success of ArmDigiHealth 2025 marks a defining moment in Armenia’s digital health journey. By fostering collaboration, innovation, and education, the event has laid the foundation for continued progress in the years ahead.

AADH extends its sincere gratitude to all speakers, participants, and partners for contributing to this historic occasion. The next edition of ArmDigiHealth is scheduled for September 2026, promising to build on the achievements of this landmark event.
