Vision

The Armenian Association of Digital Health (AADH) is a non-governmental, non-profit professional organization founded in December 2008 by a group of physicians and IT specialists in Yerevan, Armenia, interested in exploring and developing Digital Health in Armenia and worldwide. The AADH is visioning to lead the quality and accessibility of health care in Armenia via the exploration, establishment and development of Digital Health services in the local health care system.

Mission

The mission of the Armenian Association of Digital Health is to promote the development of Digital Health in Armenia, concurrently participating and contributing to further advancements in the field worldwide.

Objectives

The subject of the organization’s activities and objectives are, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, to promote the development of healthcare, medical science and the economy of Armenia, to increase the efficiency and accessibility of medical services through training, implementation, formation and development of digital healthcare.

In accordance with this goal, the organization sets the following tasks

• Development of a digital healthcare strategy in Armenia
• Implementation and application of international standards and guidelines for digital healthcare in Armenia
• Development and implementation of practical digital healthcare programs and projects
• Formation of relations and cooperation with international organizations
• Organization of local and international scientific, practical and educational activities
• Implementation of short-term and long-term scientific, research and educational programs in cooperation with professional organizations and groups of related industries.

To achieve its goals and objectives, the organization cooperates with state and local government bodies, similar international and foreign organizations, and other organizations registered in the Republic of Armenia. The organization has the right to carry out business activities in accordance with the purposes established by its charter, to dispose of its property and results of activity for this purpose, as well as to create a commercial organization or become its own in accordance with the procedure established by law.

AADH plans to manage the delivery of Digital Health services, to support both basic and advanced healthcare in Armenia . Monitoring developments will also enable the Association to address changes in health care delivery systems in the future, which developments in Digital Health will bring about.
